The presentation consisted of an Australian flag and an Escape map that were carried onboard a 37 Squadron C130 aircraft on an operational mission in Afghanistan. Also included was a signed photograph of the C130 aircraft that flew the mission and a photograph of the crew. Warrant Officer Leong said that the Squadron endeavoured to make this type of presentation to the smaller RSL Sub Branches outside of the cities. “These presentations are in recognition of the support they provide to current and ex service personnel.” Barrie French Honorary Secretary Karuah RSL Sub Branch told News Of The Area, “The items will be displayed in the Karuah RSL Club along with other memorabilia.”
