THIS week the Karuah Roos travelled to Beresfield to take on Thornton Beresfield on Saturday, Game day Sponsor was The Karuah RSL Cub.

The Roos # 11 Ben Langdon was in for his first of the season to within the first 10mins. Roos4 Thorn/Bero 0.

The Roos meter men were Jack Croese, Dwayne Fleming, Aden Callaghan, Fylan Foley, Mitch O’Bryan, Josh Page, Tim Johnson, Ben Langdon and Mitch Napier.

Karuah’s #1 Josh Page was next to score under the post and then he converted his own try taking the Roos to 10/0.

Big hitters were Daniel Evans, Ryan Saunders, Mitch Napier, Aden Callaghan, Ben Langdon, Dwayne Fleming, Shannon Bills, Tim Johnson, Josh Page, Aaron Bills, Dylan Foley and Darren Weatherall.

With 10mins to go Thorn/Bero were in for 2 quick tries taking the half time score to Karuah 10 Thornton Beresfield 8.

Karuah’s #19 Ryan Saunders crossed in the first 3mins of the second half 14/8. Bero was quick to counter Roos 14 Bero 12.

Bero was in again to hit the front for the first time in the game Bero 18 Roos 14.

Runners for the Roos in the second half were Josh Page, Luke Chapman, Aden Callaghan, Darren Weatherall, Ryan Saunders, Ben Langdon and Mitch Napier.

15mins left in the second half and the Roos were down a man with #11 Ben Langdon being sinbinned for 10mins.

With 8mins to go the Roos #9 Dwayne Fleming was in to equal the score 18 all before #1 Josh Page converting taking the final score to Karuah 20 Thornton Beresfield 18.
