The Roos kicked off and within 10 minutes Luke Perry scored 4/0. Luke was on fire, he was in for his second try not five minutes later with Sam Croese converting to take the score to 10/0. Big hitters for the Roos were Matt O’Connor, Matt Feeney, Jordan Cobb, Sam Croese, Ashley Voll, Kane Chisholme, Luke Perry, Adam Crampton, Jack Croese, Tim Higginbottom, Bobby Beetson, Harley Stevenson, Harley Ridgeway and Matt Weatherall. Half way through the first half and Justin Anderson was in for his first try for the Roos and Sam Croese converting to take the score to 16/0. Hexham was next to score 16/4. Great metres were made by Luke Perry, Tim Higgenbottom, Jordan Cobb, Kane Chisholme, Harley Ridgeway, Matt O’Connor, Ben Feeney, Jack Croese, Matt Feeney, Jake Blanch, Adam Crampton, Tim Johnson and Zac Cobb. With 10 minutes to go in the first half the Jets were in again to take the half time score to Karuah 16 Hexham 12. The second half saw the Jets come out firing to score in within two minutes to take the lead for the first time in the game after converting the try Jets 18 Roos 16. The Roos’ Jordan Cobb countered within a couple of minutes and Sam Croese converted to put the Roos back in front 22/18. It was a tit for tat with Hexham in to equal to score at 22 all. The metre men were Luke Perry, Harley Ridgeway, Harley Stevenson, Tim Johnson, Sam Croese, Jake Blanch, Jack Croese, Matt Feeney, Ben Feeney, Bobby Beetson, Matt Weatherall, Ashley Voll and Tim Higginbottom. Then the Roos’ Ben Feeney was the next to score and Sam again converted to take the score to 28/22. The Roos’ big hitters were Jordan Cobb, Sam Croese, Ben Feeney, Harley Ridgeway, Matt Feeney, Justin Anderson, Ashley Voll, Matt O’Connor, Harley Stevenson, Kane Chisholme, Zac Cobb, Luke Perry, Jack Croese, Tim Johnson and Tim Higginbottom. Luke Perry was in for his hat trick of the day and again Sam Croese converted to take the score to 34/22. But once again the Jets countered to take the final score to Karuah Roos 34 Hexham Jets 26. The win today puts the Roos in second spot on the ladder. Players Player 3 points Luke Perry, 2 points Ben Feeney, 1 point was a tie between Sam Croese and Jordan Cobb.
