The next meeting for the Karuah Local History Group will be held at the Karuah RSL on Tuesday 1 September at 7pm.

A spokesperson from the group said, “We are preparing for our Old Timers Night to be held on Friday 9 October at 6pm.”

The group is looking for any old information about Karuah and the families who have lived in the area.

If you have some treasures please share them with the History Group.

“We have the capacity to scan and copy any information so that originals can stay with the family.”

On Saturday 15 August two of the groups members attended a Lake Macquarie Society meeting at Marmong Point to hear an illustrated address given by Keith Davey whose family lived at The Branch.
