IT has been an eventful week at the Golf club this week with the” Last Man Standing” being played Saturday this is a big day for the Golfing Calendar year, the conditions on Friday and Saturday were extreme to say the least.

‘Last Man Standing” Stableford. Saturday saw extreme heat conditions and 37 Players turned up for the shotgun start at 8am

The course was in top condition and despite the heat there were good scores accomplished. Once lunch was over 8 brave golfers faced the heat for the last stand off. B Garthwaite, D Sharp, B Johnson, G Masters, R Berry, D Cant, R Trowbridge, P Fitzgerald. The winner was Geoff Masters 37pts with runner up R Trowbridge 35pts.
