COMMUNITY radio station Radio Nambucca 2NVR 105.9FM are hosting a live studio broadcast on the evening of Friday, 15 October from 6-8pm with Kailey Pallas headlining the event.

At only 20 years of age Kailey has been performing to live audiences from the age of six where she accompanied her father busking.

Kailey performs a wide range of music which includes powerful renditions of ‘Someone like you’ by Adele, ‘Jolene’ by Dolly Parton and Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie’ as well as her own versions of Aussie classics such as ‘Down Under’ by Men at Work.

Radio presenter Ceri Wrobel told News Of The Area how excited the station is to have Kailey performing and urges the community to either join in or tune in.

“Nambucca Valley Radio 105.9fm is pumped to be welcoming Kailey Pallas to Studio 3 Live.

“It’s a monthly live event on the third Friday of every month, 6-8pm, at the 2NVR studios, 834, Rodeo Drive, Tewinga.

“Kailey’s performance will herald the return of this very popular live show following the easing of covid restrictions.

“The show is broadcast live on 105.9fm, streamed live, plus we welcome a live studio audience.

“It’s a free event, wonderful entertainment, watch live radio in action and don’t we all need some live music right now?

“Bring your own drinks and nibbles, plus a chair and we will be outside under the covered verandah.

“Please remember NSW covid restrictions apply, everyone attending is required to register and provide proof of double vaccination, if you can’t attend, be sure to listen in,” said Ceri.

Kailey said she is delighted to perform a live show to a radio audience which spans from Kempsey to Coffs Harbour and to Bellingen in the west.

“I am delighted to play in the Nambucca Valley, Friday is going to be a great night, it’s what we all need.

“Musos have had a tough time over the last two years so we’re all hoping the recovery continues and we can all enjoy live music,” said Kailey.
