In July, around 500 people provided big and small ideas for the popular location which the consultants have reviewed, developing a range of concept plans and drawings. These will be presented at Forster’s Council office on Friday 13 October, kicking off at 2.45pm. Everyone’s invited to the presentation, which will conclude with a ’round table’/ Q&A session to hear your feedback on the concepts presented.
“We’re now seeking input from the community that will allow us to further refine and develop the concepts for inclusion into the Concept Plan” said The Design Partnership’s Kristy Ryan.
“We want to check that the concepts developed are on track with what the community and stakeholders have told us so far” added Kristy.
Separate workshops are being conducted for local businesses, the Forster Surf Life Saving Club and the Aboriginal community.
Everyone is welcome to attend, but registrations for the workshop are required to allow group sizes to be managed so that everyone’s feedback is heard. Register for the workshops by Tuesday 10 October at www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/ForsterMainBeach.
