The Lioness Club of Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest nominated James and Ethan for this award in the category of Sibling Recognition, which are for siblings who actively participate in the daily care of their brother or sister who has “special needs”.

The District Governor, David Heggart, presented James and Ethan with the Award when he visited the combined Lions and Lioness Club November Dinner and said how proud he was of this Lions award and was only too happy to present it to the brothers.

Noelene Heggart, Past District Governor attended with her husband also our Zone Chairperson Lion Joan Parkes and her husband Ron from Fingal Bay Lions.

It was a special night with 32 Guests from the Lions and Lioness Club attending at the Tea Gardens Hotel.
