Irrawang High School’s Lue Fagan told news Of The Area, “The Salvation Army in Raymond Terrace will collect our donations on 7 December and distribute them to the local community. “This year we have been asked to collect non-perishable food items – or those with a long expiry date, and some Christmas things such as decorations etc, as other organisations are contributing clothes and toys,” she said. The school’s student leaders spoke at a recent assembly, encouraging students to bring in whatever they could.
