Chairman, Dave Feeney, from the Karuah Mission Roos Rugby League Football Club expressed his thanks via Anita Pinkerton.

Mrs Pinkerton told Myall Coast News that a percentage of the money spent on IGA branded items was given back to the community and each year a different selection of groups was chosen to receive the funding.

Funds given to the Karuah Preschool will be used to purchase more resources for the children.

Sonya told Myall Coast News, “Our preschool has grown immensely seeing the preschool opening for five days a week in 2015 from the original two days.”

Enquiries regarding enrollments may be made by calling Sonya on 4997 5670.

Community groups to receive the 2015 funds are yet to be chosen.
