Mrs Pinkerton told Myall Coast News that a percentage of the money spent on IGA branded items was given back to the community and each year a different selection of groups was chosen to receive the funding.

Funds given to the Bulahdelah Show Society will be used for sponsorship and improvements to the grounds and buildings.

Bulahdelah Scouts welcomed the funding and Nicky Hammerl advised that the money would be spent on camping equipment.

Kevin Carter from the Historical Society said that they would spend the money on maintenance of the Court House Museum and surrounding gardens.
