Email us – media@newsofthearea.com.au Karina Chambers, Community Liaison Officer at Hunter River High School told News Of The Area, “The School Captains and Vice Captains will run the School Student Representative Council, provide an active voice for students and represent the school at community functions.” Being a part of the school leadership team helps students learn more about leadership and being positive role models to the student body. School Captain Madeline Lilley said, “I am absolutely thrilled to take on this leadership position, I’m eager to make changes in the school and community environment.” School Captain Nyalla Gordon said, “I am beyond excited to fill the role as school captain this year as I will have the privilege and honour in representing my school as well as being a role model or someone to rely on for those within our school community.” The NOTA team wishes the new student leadership team at Hunter River High School every success.
