Jamie Hook, a professional golfer at the club told News Of The Area, “The 17th hole is one of the toughest so this is a great achievement.” Michael, who is also a Toastmaster, only took up golf at the age of 50, after years of soccer had taken its toll on his knees. He is now a golf addict. “This was the best hole in one so far. It is a long and difficult par three. It was recorded on my certificate as 164m,” he said. Mike also added that he has a firm philosophy of being able to achieve anything in life. “You need a plan and then begin making steps towards what it is you want”. I’m sure we’ll be hearing of Ace number five before too long. By Sarah STOKES
