Recently we had feedback from two intrepid grey nomads who are currently returning more or less unscathed. Helen and Dennis Smith from Tanilba ventured north with their caravan on yet another safari a month or so back and have kept us up to date on their adventures. Fishing is their passion and they well and truly got stuck into the ‘grunter’ in the waters off Karumba. Helen in particular cleaned up big time as the accompanying photo shows. It was, however, a different story at Emerald in Queensland. The red claw crayfish they were seeking were very scarce. Meanwhile, back at club Lemon Tree, there is something of a crisis. Helen and Dennis are star performers in a five person trivia team, which is now struggling. “Some nights we are down to a mere two. We need you back as quickly as possible.
