HAWKS NEST LADIES IN GREAT FORM
Congratulations are in order for the two Hawks Nest ladies Pennant teams for 2023 who played in the District for Division two and Bronze division, both teams ended up in 3rd place, well done to all ladies who played.
Also congratulations go to the winner of Single Match play Jo Buttrey who played against Annette Benton last Friday 19th May. Jo won on the 17th hole so it was a very close match.
On the same day Denise Sainty played against Janet Moore for the Plate and putted out right on the 18th Green for another exciting game. Well played all four ladies.
It is with regret we have to cancel the Doubles Match play this year as there were not enough entries, however, the ladies Foursomes Championships are now open so get your partners together for an exciting two weeks on Tuesday 13th and 20th June.
Winner of May raffle (voucher for the Pro shop) was drawn on Tuesday 23rd with Di Smith being the lucky lady.
