Hawks Nest Golf Club Social Club THE 22 – 24 July was the coldest social fishing outings this season. Alas this didn’t stop the anglers from taking part in their hobby for the weekend of fun. The mystery fish drawn was a luderick and Robert Bartlett won the title of largest mystery fish. All the social anglers had very similar species showing the season is right for a successful fishing outing. The ladies social weekend fishing champion was Gail Bartlett who caught some great tailor and an Australian salmon. The ladies runner up ,Michelle Cole caught some bream and a tailor. The men’s social angling runner up was Andrew Sharp who caught a great swag of fish including tailor, bream, luderick and an Australian salmon.
