Hawks Nest Golf Club is gearing up for a major event in the playing calendar with the 2015 Boathouse Resort Hawks Nest Golf Club Pro-Am set to tee off on Monday, 26 October.

Club Professional Andrew McCormack said, “This is the first Pro-Am Tournament to be held at the club since I took over the job in July last year.”

“The Tournament gives amateur golfers the opportunity to play in a real tournament alongside some of the best Professional golfers in Australia.”

The Sixty Pro’s will be competing for a prize purse of $11,000 with the major sponsor being The Boathouse Resort.

Gold sponsors for this prestigious event are RSL Life Care, Yamaha Golf and Tooheys who have got behind the event after seeing its obvious marketing benefits in what promises to be an exciting and well regarded golf Tournament for years to come.

Each Professional will be teamed with three Amateurs giving players a unique chance to experience the ups and downs of the game whilst gaining valuable experience to improve your game in a genuine competitive atmosphere.

Andrew will have to be on his game as the Tournament falls on the day after he and fiancé Emily Davis get married which means a delay in their honeymoon.
