NORTH Coast Football (NCF) 2021 player of the year Miller Harwood has joined the Brisbane Strikers as the talented junior follows his dream to be a professional footballer.

Brisbane Strikers FC have a strong tradition of producing elite players, fielding over 25 international players throughout their history.

NCF Head of Coaching and Player Development Alex Nolan will miss Miller’s presence on the pitch but is delighted regional players are making an impact at the elite level.

“Miller was our NPL player of the year for 2021 for his commitment and dedication to improve both on and off the field.

“He is a very technical player and a natural leader on the field, his voice will be missed in our squads but we wish him all the best for future success.

“At North Coast Football our goal is to develop players who can go on and play at the highest level so for Miller to take an opportunity to play at Brisbane Strikers is music to our ears.

“With three players leaving us in the off-season to the Newcastle Jets and NPL teams in both Sydney and Brisbane we hope this is just the start for more regional players to have an opportunity to hopefully one day play professional football,” said Nolan.
