Great Lakes Council Mayor draws iPad winner MidCoast LGA (overall news) by NOTA - July 8, 2015 A Great Lakes Council ratepayer has won an iPad mini simply by signing up to have their rate notices emailed to them. Mr Mark Estivo was the lucky winner drawn by the Mayor, Cr Jan McWilliams at Council’s June meeting. Council issues in the vicinity of 102,000 rate and instalment notices each year. In an effort to reduce the costs of production and postage and to lessen the impact on our environment, we are offering ratepayers the option of receiving their rates notices electronically. As an incentive to sign up for electronic rates notices, all Ratepayers who registered were entered in a draw to win an iPad mini, with Mr Estivo being the lucky winner. It’s not too late to register to receive your rates notice by email, just scan the QR code on your rates notice or visit Council’s website to register. Once you register, online rates notices will replace the hard copy you currently receive in the mail. All information is held in a secure site and is used exclusively to send communications on behalf of Council.
