News Of The Area asked Graeme how he felt about his retirement and he said, “It is time for me to have a new life and to finally do some of the things that I have not had the time to do whilst being involved in the running of the businesses.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed looking after all the locals who have supported both pharmacies over the years and it has been my pleasure to get to know my customers on a personal level.”

New owners, Hany Botros and his partner, Manuel Matta, who also own the Bulahdelah Pharmacy and the Three Beaches Chemist in Black Head, are keen to get to know their new customers in Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens.

Hany told News Of The Area, “Working in small villages like Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens is so very different from working in the bigger cities so we will take time to develop personal relationships with our customers and take it slowly at first.”

He went on to say, “When new owners take over a business, you need to sit back and learn about the dynamics of that business and listen to the people before making any changes for future success.”

Pharmacist, John Hopcroft, will also serve the public with his learned advice and genuine customer service.

News Of The Area wishes Graeme a happy, healthy and exciting retirement and also extends congratulations and support to Hany, Manuel and John in their new venture.
