Email us – media@newsofthearea.com.au The Fingal Bay Probus Club is no exception, with retiring committee members including long-time Secretary Graeme Paul, Treasurer Eric Platzer as well as Vice President Daryl Chalker. At the Club’s recent AGM, Rex Sneyd was re-elected as President, Ross Ferrier volunteered to be Secretary, Trevor Gray took over as Treasurer and Roy Jeffery was elected as Vice President. Other positions were filled with only a few yet to be confirmed. The volunteers that take on these roles have the opportunity to shape the future activities for the club’s membership. Julia Redlich told News Of The Area, “The changeover lunch saw most attendees enjoying choices from the delicious menu at the Fingal Bay Sports Club Bistro. “The lively conversation and laughter promised well for the year ahead,” she said. The Fingal Bay Probus Club meets at 9.30am on the second Monday of each month at the Fingal Bay Sports Club, 100 Rocky Point Road, Fingal Bay. New members and visitors are welcome to learn about Probus and the club’s activities that include wine and dine events, movies, day trips, and barbecues.
