Julia Redlich told News Of The Area, “As usual, members of the Fingal Bay Probus Club will find any excuse to get together for a cheerful chat and coffee and if that means some exercise for body and brain, so be it. “

Members recently enjoyed wine appreciation undercover courtesy of Nelson Bay CWA, a morning tea at Lynn Moffit’s home and coffee at the Horizons Bistro after an early morning walk.

While many activities have moved outside because of COVID, the club has been able to adapt and find venues when needed to ensure the weather does not stop its activities.

The Fingal Bay Probus Club meets at 9.30am on the second Monday of each month at the Fingal Bay Sports Club, 100 Rocky Point Road, Fingal Bay.

New members and visitors are welcome to join the group to learn about Probus and the club’s activities, such as barbecues, movies, day trips, morning teas and walks for pleasure.
