Fingal Bay Probus is one of six Probus Clubs on the Tomaree Peninsula and it welcomes both male and female members. Recently the club enjoyed a special evening spent with friends organised by the club’s newly appointed wine and dine officers, Edith and Rex Sneyd at Salt Water Restaurant at the Surf Life Saving Club. Wine and Dine is one of the go-to events in the diary of Fingal Bay Probus Club members that is proving to be very popular. Julia Redlich of the Fingal Bay Probus Club told News Of The Area, “An enthusiastic number of members met at Salt Water restaurant at the local Surf Club and enjoyed a varied menu which delighted the taste buds. “We had admirable attention from staff to warm the heart and a view to amaze the eyes,” she said. Members also enjoyed a stroll on the vast balcony taking in the beautiful Bay. She believes that viewing our stunning environment is always a great experience, especially if there just happens to be some full moon magic which the members all enjoyed as well. The Probus Club of Fingal Bay meets on the second Monday of every month at 9.30am at The Fingal Bay Sports and Recreation Club, 100 Rocky Point Road, Fingal Bay. Future members and guests are welcome to a club that thrives of friendship, fellowship and fun, and offers a selection of activities and a variety of guest speakers. By Marian SAMPSON
