FEDERAL Member for Lyne, Dr David Gillespie, joined hundreds of residents at ANZAC Day commemorations in the Myall Coast Region last week.

The MP gave the ANZAC Address at the Dawn Service in Karuah, and paid tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
He also attended the March and mid-morning ANZAC Commemoration in Tea Gardens.
Speaking with News Of The Area, Dr Gillespie said it was touching to see so many people, both young and old, come together to honour those who have serviced our nation.
“There was a big crowd at the Dawn Service in Karuah, over 500 people, it was a really moving ceremony,” Dr Gillespie said.
“The flags, the riverside settings, the speeches, all the attendees, the marches and the communities getting together at Tea Gardens and Karuah, made them really special events.”
Dr Gillespie also attended the Bulahdelah Central School ANZAC Assembly and said he was honoured to have taken part in the ceremony.
