LOOKING for a fun filled day in Tea Gardens and the chance to find a treasure?

Then head to Estia Health, (formerly The Manor) for an Open Day on Saturday 13 May.

“We’ll have jumping castles, balloon twisting, and face painting for the children,” Estia’s Sue Nash told News Of The Area.

“We’ve got lots of entertainment, line dancers, a ukulele group, Gus, the bush ballad singer and some dancing performances,” Sue said.

To tempt the taste buds, there’ll be a sausage sizzle, snow cones and fairy floss.”

For those who love a scone, there will also be free Devonshire Teas in the cafeteria.

Estia is also looking for expressions of interest from stall holders for a Trash and Treasure.

“It will cost stallholders a gold coin donation to participate,” Sue said.

“We’re really inviting the community into the home, because a lot of our residents are unable to go out into the community,” Estia’s Jenny Armstrong said.

“It will be a great day for our residents to see all the performances.”

The Aged Care Facility is hoping parents and grandparents will bring their children along for the Open Day with all money raised from donations going to the Lions Club.

The Open Day is being held in the grounds of the Spinifex Avenue complex on Saturday 13 May between 10am and 2pm.
