AFTER three postponements because of Covid impacts, River Sounds festival is here. Taking place at the Bellingen Showgrounds this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the contemporary music festival features some of the biggest names in Australian music and brightest emerging talent. They include Baker Boy direct from closing the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, alongside Regurgitator, Alex The Astronaut, Butterfingers, The Meannies and stacks more. All up more than 50 artists will be performing across three stages. The licensed and all-ages event has food and markets galore, a kids zone, and a huge big top tent to keep the weather at bay. Thankfully, the forecast is nothing but for sunny blue skies. Tickets are still available from www.riversounds.com.au Regurgitator, one of Australia’s great rock bands will be on stage. The first planned River Sounds fell foul of Covid. The second planned River Sounds almost made it. River Sounds is here, this weekend and the forecast is good.
