This year’s theme was ‘Dancing around the World’ and the various age groups featured and represented many different countries in the show. The 120 students, aged two and upwards, have been working hard all year on their routines. Dance school principal, Corynne Darcy, told News Of The Area, “I could not be prouder of my students, they never cease to amaze me with the dedication they show throughout the whole year.” This year, the school awarded six students with their 10 year Loyalty to Dance trophy – Heidi Farley, Lilly Davidson, Nicola Green, Hayley Doonar, Hayley Daniels and Kyara Darcy. They also awarded two students the impressive 20 year Commitment to Dance award – Hannah Ross and Amelia Morrow. The concert featured professional costumes, props, backdrops, lighting, photography and videography. The exciting night was compered by none other than Romper Room’s Miss Kim.
