Janet Henderson, President, CWA Nelson Bay, said, “The school has supported us for over 20 years and the effort put in by the students is always impressive.” Mr Hancock told News Of The Area, “Choosing the top three posters was very difficult, all submissions are worthy of a place, however, the deciding factors which helped in the selection process, were accuracy of information, nice, clean and colourful visuals and correct use of grammar.” The impressive group of ladies meet on the first Monday of the month. They are especially proud of the commitment to one another and the wealth of information and abilities between them. Regularly showcasing talents from craft, gardening to insightful mindfulness, they are a talented group. “Social support and inclusion is of great importance to us,” Barbara Daffern of Salamander Bay said. Barbara is relatively new to the group with 18 years under her belt. “I jumped in with both feet, it has been one of the best decisions I have made, the ladies are wonderful,” she said. By Mandy ELLIS
