Amrit Poudyal, co-owner of Curries & more, thanked News Of The Area for the opportunity to elaborate on their closure with the Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens communities.

“As many may know, we moved from a previous location to get a further step ahead in our life and were really excited, and even applied for a liquor license, which was approved just before our closure of dine-in due to COVID.”

“We were really struggling last summer; our business flow was affected by the bushfires and we were struggling very hard with this pandemic, but we really appreciate our lovely community for all their support during these hard times.”

“We are continuing to look for a new place which may be a takeaway-only restaurant, and we’re open to that being either in Hawks Nest or Tea Gardens, as we know both towns love us very much.”

“We would like to say thank you to all of our lovely people for their continuous support and assure you all that we will rise again.”
