Critical incident investigation underway after pedestrian death at Raymond Terrace Regional News by NOTA - November 17, 2014 A critical incident investigation has been launched following the death of a woman at Raymond Terrace overnight. Police were called to the Pacific Highway, about 500m north of the intersection of Masonite Road, about 10.30pm (Sunday 16 November 2014), following reports of an injured woman on the roadway. A woman, believed to be aged in her 40s, was found deceased at the location by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. Officers from Port Stephens Local Area Command established a crime scene and launched an investigation. A critical incident team from the Central Hunter Local Area Command will now investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident, including the woman’s movements before she attended the Pacific Highway. All information will be provided to the Coroner who will determine the cause of death and make any findings about the events leading to the woman’s death.
