Irrawang High School are fortunate to have some wonderful people across the community associated with their school. and at a surprise morning tea, they took the opportunity to thank those associated with the impressive Irrawang High School Drum Corps. Luella Fagan from Irrawang High School told News Of The Area, “Recently MarketPlace Raymond Terrace purchased new sticks, uniforms and a quad drum for our drummers.” “Colleen and Stewart from MarketPlace have been incredible supporters of our school, and in particular the Drum Corps, for over seven years, and we can’t thank them enough for their ongoing and overwhelming generosity, kindness and passion for our students.” “Mrs Sue D’Arcy has done a magnificent job of sewing brand new uniforms for our drummers, ensuring we have the best dressed Drum Corps in Australia,” she said. The Drum Corps wearing the new uniforms, treated their guests, along with the school’s Senior Executive, to a special performance with Jack Lawrence on the quad.
