Community Building Partnership program in 2015 MidCoast LGA (overall news) by NOTA - July 8, 2015 Member for Port Stephens, Kate Washington, has announced that the NSW Government will once again conduct the Community Building Partnership program in 2015. Kate Washington The Program offers grant funding for infrastructure based projects that meet a need in the local community. Applications for funding will be open from Monday 29 June – Friday 7 August 2015. “Incorporated not-for-profit community organisations and local councils are once again encouraged to apply for funding to build and improve facilities in the local community,” Ms Washington said. “This Program supports the building, refurbishment or enhancement of community infrastructure facilities that deliver positive social, recreational and environmental outcomes for the community,” she continued. “Over the years, I have seen many local community groups and schools gain significant benefit from this grant program. If your group has a need, please make an application,” Ms Washington said. Applications can be made via the Community Building Partnership website (www.communitybuildingpartnership.nsw.gov.au), where potential applicants can obtain additional information regarding the program and the types of projects that are eligible to apply for funding.
