There will be 25 market stalls offering a wide range of items such as antique jewellery, vintage linen, pottery, household goods, craft items, antiques and collectables, books, plants, bric-a-brac and much more.

Most items will be ticketed but if buyers wish to barter, the organisers suggest making an offer.

“There is no harm in asking, as many of the market traders are avid collectors and are keen to downsize and would like to see their stalls cleared,” Coffs Collectors Club Secretary Ingrid Gardiner told News Of The Area.

Some hobbyists will be selling their lovingly created craft items, plants and recycled timber items.

Market traders will be present, and the White Elephant stall has some fabulous donated items.

There will be plenty to peruse and lots of bargains.

“Many local collectors are looking for that odd plate or cup to complete a set or a piece of their favourite glass.

“A stunning piece of uranium glass or that special brooch always creates excitement when found,” said Ingrid.

“When you come to the Collectors Trash & Treasure market you will find a friendly atmosphere and a huge array of treasures to consider owning.

“It also provides an opportunity for friends to meet and enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea or maybe a sandwich and a slice.”

Funds raised from the market day will help promote the Collectors Club’s main event which will be the Coffs Antiques & Collectors Fair held on the last weekend of June 2024.

A special Gala Opening is planned for the Friday evening, with general trading over the weekend along with some incredible displays of individual collections.

“The members of the Collectors Club lnc. are very excited with this new venture which will take the 28th Annual Collectors Fair to a new level,” said Ingrid.
