THE Blue Water Country Music Festival is set to have feet tapping, with festival favourites galore returning for the event.

Beccy Cole, Steve Passfield and Brothers3 return to the Bay Festival this year.
Beccy will perform on Sunday night of the festival at Soldiers Point Bowling Club and the show promises to be a festival highlight.

Steve Passfield has played the Blue Water Country Music Festival nearly every year since it commenced.

He is a festival favourite and has been the lynchpin for the main free festival stage for many years.

Steve travels the world to entertain, making his rendition of ‘I’ve Been Everywhere’ an apt mantra, while Passfield’s song ‘Timberman’ is an Australian country music anthem.

Steve considers himself “almost a local” having played at many other major Nelson Bay events, including Tastes at the Bay, where he channels his inner jazzman.
Steve Passfield told News Of The Area, “Going back each year to the blue water of the Nelson Bay area is such a wonderful thing to do.”

“It’s great to catch up with locals and country music fans who we don’t see at some of the far flung festivals throughout the year.”

“But then again, why would you leave the area, you’re almost in heaven and add some good music and well, Eureka!” he said.

Festival regulars Brothers3, who appeared on the X Factor in 2014, performed at the Blue Water Country Music Festival first in 2010, while still school aged.

Brothers3 can be seen at the festival again this year, and their show promises to be extremely popular.
This year, Steve Passfield has a key role hosting the Port Stephens Toyota Marquee in Apex Park on Saturday and Sunday of the June Long weekend.
