AT 11am on Thursday 22nd September 2022, our day of National Mourning, members of the Coffs Harbour RSL Sub-Branch came together inside the C.ex Club due to the torrential rain, and reflected on our Queen’s passing with the laying of wreaths, the Ode, followed by a minutes silence, and a service. Our late Queen was the Patron of the RSL Movement. Sub-Branch Vice President Garry Heskett JP stated, “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 70 year reign as Queen of the Commonwealth, and other realms went above and beyond the call of duty. “May her memory compel us to always act in Service, Duty, and Sacrifice for the greater good of all.”
