Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club to host NSW vs QLD showdown Coffs Coast Sport News Of The Area by News Of The Area - Modern Media - February 21, 2021 The Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club will host a State of Origin type showdown. NEW South Wales and Queensland have shared a fierce sporting rivalry over the years, no better exemplified than by State of Origin. This traditional rivalry is set to continue on the race track this month, when the Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club hosts Round 1 of the 2021 Project X Noisy Tour on February 28-29. NSW and QLD drivers will battle it out for the chequered flag in support of the 2021 Just Send It Series. The State Trophy will be up for grabs to see which is the champion state on the Coffs Harbour track. Coffs Harbour hosts the opening round of the five-round series, which also takes place in Cooloola, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, and the series finale in Warwick in September. The NSW vs QLD event will feature five categories, including Tag Restricted Light (The Midgets), Open Performance (The Loose Units), Tag Restricted Medium (The Pie Eaters), Tag Restricted Masters (The Old Buggers), and Tag Open (The Sumos). A new concept for this year’s series is that drivers can drop the points of their worst round off their overall points total. The Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club are looking for NSW drivers to take on the Queenslanders with entries open for Round 1. The Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club will be hosting its annual Geoff King Motors Australian Kart Masters on June 11-13. By Aiden BURGESS
