The Yandaarra Aunty Grace Roberts Community Awards are a key part of Coffs’ NAIDOC celebrations. They honour the talents and achievements of Aboriginal people in the local Gumbaynggirr community and acknowledge the hard work that happens to keep culture and community strong. This year, over twenty nominees have been put forward across different categories such as Sports Achievement, Community Organisation and Business of the Year to name but a few. The celebration will also feature live performances and entertainment from local First Nations peoples, including an item by Kulai Preschool who have been practising for weeks!
