Coffs Harbour basketball season tips off Coffs Coast Sport Sport by News Of The Area - Modern Media - February 22, 2022 ONE of the biggest competitions in Coffs Harbour sport tipped off its latest season this month. The Coffs Harbour Basketball Association’s summer season got underway earlier this month with men’s, women’s and junior competitions tipping off for 2022. The fourth round of the latest season was scheduled to be played this week with all games taking place at Sportz Central. The senior men’s competitions are played on a Wednesday night and feature a men’s draft league and men’s social competition. Women’s competitions are held on Tuesday nights and also feature a draft league and social competition. High school competitions are played on Friday afternoons and evenings at Sportz Central, while the primary school competitions take centre stage on Saturday mornings. In addition to the start of the summer season, the Coffs Harbour Suns have been preparing for this year’s representative seasons with their senior teams announced for the upcoming Basketball NSW Waratah State League competitions.
