Coffs Harbour Basketball Association grand-finalists decided while Suns continue winning run

 

COFFS Harbour’s best basketball teams have booked a place in this season’s grand finals by winning their semi-finals of the Coffs Harbour Basketball Association’s senior summer competition at Sportz Central.

A-grade minor premiers East Side Massiv will contest this season’s grand final after a 39-32 win against Forest Built.
They will play The Beetles for the A-grade title after they beat Karaage Chicken 59-56 in their semi-final.

Springloaded and Pink will contest this season’s women’s A-grade grand final after wins in their respective semi-finals.

Minor premiers Springloaded continued their undefeated season with a 66-43 win against Sweet16’s, which was their 15th straight victory.

Springloaded will now play Pink in the grand final after the team’s 45-40 win in their semi-final against Diamonds.

THE Coffs Harbour Suns Youth Men’s side have continued their winning run with a 72-52 win at home against the Hills Hornets, in their Waratah League game at Sportz Central.

The win was the Suns fourth in a row and sees the Youth Men’s team sit second on their pool ladder with 8 wins from their opening 9 games of the representative season.

Lachlan Mihai top scored for the Suns with 19 points while Ashley Schellenberger was next best with 17 points.

The Suns are at home tomorrow night for their top of the table clash against the Inner West Bulls Black.
