Coffs Coast surfers have top results at Billabong Oz Grom Cup

COFFS Coast’s top junior surfers have had top results against the nation’s finest juniors at the 2023 Billabong Oz Grom Cup in Coffs Harbour.

Coffs Harbour Boardriders Club and Sawtell Boardriders Club juniors had top four finishes at the annual event, which is one of the biggest competitions on the NSW junior surfing calendar.

Points were up for grabs for the talented groms going towards their state and national rankings.

Coffs Harbour Boardriders Club member Creed Smart finished second in the under 18 boys division, while Sawtell Boardriders Club member Rio Luther Barr finished third in the under 14 boys division.

Coffs Harbour Boardriders Club member Sage White finished third in the under 10 girls division, while Tilda Harrigan finished fourth.

Coffs Harbour Boardriders Club also held its second competition of the year on Sunday, 23 April.

The Ocean and Earth North Coast Regional Titles will be held on Saturday, 6 May in Coffs Harbour.

The Ocean and Earth North Coast Regional Titles are the starting point and pathway to the NSW Grommet State Titles, NSW Junior State Titles and Australian Junior Titles.
