A Christmas tree, located in Room 1 at the Craft Centre, is waiting to be surrounded by toys to be distributed to local families in need.

“The Salvation Army will be picking up the toys in early December, so call in and put the toys under the tree,” Susan said.

“They are in need of new toys, not gift wrapped as they need to be sorted into age groups for distribution.

“I am sure your generosity will be appreciated by the recipients of your gifts.”

The Salvation Army is also accepting donations of gifts for men, women and children of all ages, and unwrapped non-perishable food items.

“If you haven’t visited the Craft Centre before, call in and check out the different craft groups on offer and browse through our Christmas gift items in our great shop,” Susan said.

“We have a great Christmas raffle running right now valued at over $250 so get in quick and get your tickets, they are $2.00 each or three for $5.00 and help support your local community.”
