Chris and Murray Woodfield take part in Coffs Coast Rugby Challenge Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest by News Of The Area - Modern Media - September 13, 2016 Chris Woodfield, John Rumble and Murray Woodfield. RECENTLY two of local Junior Rugby Union players took part in the Coffs Coast Rugby Challenge, an annual Rugby event that brings players and teams together from across NSW and QLD. Chris and Murray Woodfield, who usually play for Medowie Rugby, were part of the Hunter Barbarians, or BaaBaas, who are made up of players from across all hunter clubs and are put together to play in each age division from U10s to U16s. It is a fantastic opportunity for kids from rival clubs to come together and form teams and friendships and one of the great things about being part of the Rugby Union family. Mick and John Rumble from Hawks Nest First National Real Estate agreed to be the U15s major sponsor with their new Holiday Hawks Nest logo on the back of the jerseys. The U10s were sponsored by Pork Ewe Deli in Mayfield, owned by Chris and Murray’s Aunt. Their contribution helped the Barbarians reach just over $10000 for Kaleidoscope, the boys were really proud to have a local businesses to promote and would like to thank them very much for their support.
