Police have established a crime scene following a serious crash on the state’s mid-north coast at Nabiac.
A white sedan was travelling south along the Pacific Highway about 8am today (Saturday 8 August 2015), when it left the road and hit a tree.
The male driver, aged in his 30s, suffered serious internal injuries. A female passenger, also aged in her 30s, suffered fractures to her legs and arms.
Both were airlifted to John Hunter Hospital and are in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command have established a crime scene which will be assessed by specialist crash investigators.
Inquiries into the cause of the crash continue.
