ON Tuesday 26 January, Australia Day was really well attended with the Ladies and Men’s club playing together, with some players coming from other clubs in the district.

There was a total of 52 players, this allowed us to use 13 rinks.

The afternoons game was three bowl pairs, this was divided into three games of eight ends like a mini carnival, after every eight ends you played a new team.

This concept went down well as you were able to mix with other teams.

This was followed by a BBQ and of course the good all lamington.

The women’s club would like to thank all that organized the day, and the staff at CEX Woolgoolga staff.

Also to all the players that attended and putting up with the heat that afternoon as it was so hot. The results of the matches will be put on by the Men’s club.
