It’s a huge day long meet, with swimmers coming from all over the State to compete and one of the most popular events on the Masters Calendar. Last year the meet attracted 18 clubs and more than 130 swimmers. In all there are 16 races, from 25 metres to 200 metres and relays, with heats and finals filling up the program. Chris Lock said, “We’re only too happy for the community to come along and support us.” On Monday 11 February, the Masters will be back at the pool to launch the newly installed Defibrillator at the Tea Gardens Swimming Pool. The official ceremony will start at 4pm. The Defibrillator was funded in part from a grant through the NSW Government Local Sport program. By: Margie TIERNEY MYALL MASTERS: Branch Pointscore Event.
