But there’s no mystery as to who sold the winning ticket.

New owners of the Bulahdelah Newsagency, Stacey Brown and daughter Maddie Harvey, are over the moon.

“We are ecstatic to have sold a division one ticket in the Saturday Super Draw on September 1.

There were nine division one winners, who each took home a life-changing $2.2 million.

Stacey said, “The winners were just passing through town.”

“We believe they were four people from the Hunter Valley.”

And just in case they want to check their ticket at the place they bought it, Stacey and Maddie will be happy to help them celebrate their win.

“We have decorated the shop with balloons and a have a bottle of champagne on ice, just in case the winners return to our lucky newsagency.”

Tea Gardens locals may know Stacey from her many years as one of the Managers at the Tea Gardens Hotel, before she left to take over the Bulahdelah Newsagency earlier this year.
