Election of officers took place and the following positions were filled. President-Irene Worth, Secretary-Kerry Smith and Treasurer-Margaret Mears. Lengthy discussion took place at the ordinary meeting regarding the future of the auxiliary. As some of our members are ageing and unable to cook for our street stalls anymore, we’ve decided to change our approach to fundraising with a monthly raffle on our normal day. The money raised helps purchase items for the Treatment Room at the Hospital which has included a vaccine fridge and the chair to sit in while having your blood taken. The Defibrillator Monitor is ageing and will need replacing soon, so that is on our wish list. We would like to thank everyone who has helped the auxiliary in the past.
