Bulahdelah Hillclimb saw some great racing Bulahdelah, Wootton, Nerong FEATURED by NOTA - April 7, 2015April 7, 2015 Wootton Way was the location of the Bulahdelah Hillclimb again this year from the 28th-29th March. This is the second year that Nulon has been sponsoring this event. The Nulon Nationals series is an invite-only event and car clubs from across the eastern seaboard participate. There are approximately 50 cars involved. Bulahdelah is Round 1 of the series and then the car clubs also race at Wakefield Park Raceway and Cootamundra. Nulon’s John Simons spoke to Myall Coast News and explained, “To race at the Bulahdelah Hillclimb the cars need the right set-up and good suspension.” “The smaller cars have the advantage in this round of the series.” The Nulon Nationals series is essentially a club against club competition. Glenn Thomas from the MX-5 of NSW car club said, “This Nulon Nationals series creates good camaraderie.” He also commented that, “The Bulahdelah Hillclimb was a fun but unforgiving track.” The Nulon Nationals series brings tourist dollars to Bulahdelah. There was also the opportunity to be spectators at the event with free entry and a courtesy bus.
