THE King of the Mountain annual Stableford/2BBB event was played on Monday January 10. It was a great day organised by HNGC Vets, and 44 players (including 20 from Hawks Nest) contested the crowns.

The King of the Mountain was S.Sharp with 37 pts, and the Queen was T-L.Smith with 34pts.

The 2BBB winners were R.Norberry & G.Willardsen with 43 pts.

NTPs were T.Carroll & T-L.Smith.

On Thursday January 13, 23 Vets played a Single Stableford and the winner was W.Coleman with 38 pts followed by H.Pierson with 37 pts on a C/B from J.Stellema.

NTPs were G.Grainger, C.Weatley & J.Graham.

Saturday January 15 was a Stroke event and the A grade winner was J.Small with 66n followed by D.Brown with 67n.

B grade winner was R.Norberry with 69n on a C/B from J.Hooper & G.Buck.

NTPs were K.Hughes, B.Allen, R.Norberry, J.Stellema, T.Styles & B.Newton. Long Drivers were Al Benson, B.Allen & B.Newton.

Jackpot on the 17th ($31) went to G.Whitehouse.

15 vets enjoyed a Stableford event on Thursday January 20 and managed to finish before the rain.

H.Pierson was the winner with 39 pts from G.Grainger with 37 pts and D.Johnston with 35 pts (cb).

NTPs were G.McNay, G.Willadsen & C.Littlechild.

31 players dodged the showers on Saturday January 22 and D.Shultz won the day with 42 pts from K.Hughes with 38 pts.

K.Littlechild won the ladies with 36 pts from B.Gordon with 34 pts.

NTPs were S.McNaughton, D.Shultz, S.Sharp, T.Stellema, M.Haynes, R.Norberry, B.Newton and the Long Drivers were M.Haynes, D.Shultz, S.South & T-L.Smith.

G.Willardsen won the $31 Jackpot.
