“We would like to thank John Barry (General Assistant) and all the Primary staff who have made this such a fun project,” Jackie said.

All K-6 Primary students have been given the opportunity to work in the garden during Term 4, to learn
skills for producing food.

Bulahdelah Central school is one of 1,609 primary schools and early learning centres throughout Australia receiving a Woolworths Junior Landcare grant to help grow our next generation of environmental champions.

The grants are being funded with a $0.10 contribution from each sale of the Woolworths Bag for Good at
full price, which was launched in 2018 when Woolworths went single-use plastic bag free.

“The students and teachers are thoroughly enjoying this project and we hope you enjoy the photos of our
Progress,” said Jackie.
